Before your appointment

Be prepared – please bring your current glasses and/or contact lenses with you as well as a list of any current medications and any relevant medical history. If you have any questions or concerns that you'd like to discuss with your Optometrist, bring them along too!

During your appointment

Your Optometrist may ask questions about your medical history and any discomfort, or eye problems you may be experiencing. They will then perform a series of tests to assess the following: general eye health, visual acuity (the sharpness of your vision), muscle balance, pupil reaction to light, eye pressure, refractive test (to assess near-sightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism) as well as visual field assessment

After your appointment

Your Optometrist will review the results of your eye exam and make the necessary recommendations. You may be referred to a specialist or asked to book a follow up appointment. If you need prescription glasses, the best part begins - time to try on some new frames! We have a range of stylish, designer eyewear to choose from, as well as our exclusive in-house Baker brand

You can expect to be notified to collect your new frames, lenses or contact lenses within 7 - 10 working days, although we do strive to get them ready sooner!
